Under normal circumstances, aluminum alloy cutting saw blades are used inlaid alloy saw blades, and the saw blades are inlaid with cemented carbide. For the tooth profile, the saw blades for cutting aluminum alloy are all ladder flat teeth.

For different aluminum alloy materials, the number of teeth used by aluminum alloy cutting saw blades is very different. Of course, generally speaking, the thicker the material wall to be sawed, the fewer the number of teeth of the aluminum alloy saw blade used. Because the effect of chip removal needs to be considered, the fewer teeth, the better the chip removal effect. However, some aluminum alloys have certain requirements on the cutting surface and cutting smoothness. If the processing accuracy of the steel plate and alloy head of the aluminum alloy saw blade is not particularly high, the saw marks are prone to appear, and the surface is not so smooth.

Therefore, for the sawing of aluminum alloy saw blades, relatively high-demand alloy saw blades are used; and the selection of the number of teeth of aluminum alloy saw blades will also affect the sawing effect. The effect of the cutting surface, normally, the more teeth, the smoother the cutting surface, but conversely, the worse the chip removal effect.

However, for aluminum alloy processing, the general thickness is within 10 mm; the cutting width is within two to three hundred mm. Generally speaking, 120-tooth or 100-tooth aluminum alloy saw blades are used. For aluminum alloy materials, if the thickness is more than 20mm, 80-tooth aluminum alloy saw blades are generally used. If the thickness is more than 40-50mm, most of them are sawing with 60-tooth aluminum alloy saw blades.
