Also, the EMI filter CM and phase inductors are high impedance blockers to insure that little high frequency noise current is allowed to flow in the plant power lines or ground grid that is ahead of the EMI filter.
Because the 10 HP motor wouldn& acute;t be accelerated from zero frequency and voltage to its running condition, it would look at the vector VFD as a fixed voltage/frequency line starter and would require its full LRA rating to quickly accelerate to the vector VFD& acute;s output frequency.

The efficient way of cutting down the electricity cost on these motors is to adjust the frequency or speed of operation for the ac motor when big power AC motor is being used. It is the general purpose of the variable frequency drives (VFD) being used for. Electric motors that do not adjust their frequency are limited to operate at the maximum frequency all the times, even when not so much power demand.
