LS Trough Screw Conveyor is an enclosed equipment used to transfer materials horizontally or at inclined angle from one point to the other point. It consists of a trough containing a spiral blade coiled around a shaft, driven at one end and held at the other end. The material moves along the spiral within the trough, where the unique action of the flexible spiral conveyor eliminates the risk of product separation as mixed materials have different densities and particle size. LS Trough Screw Conveyor is highly versatile in which it can be operated with the flow of material inclined upward, for a maximum angle of 20 ?. However, as the angle of inclination increases, the capacity of a given unit is decreases.
