Streptomycin is aminoglycosides, and applied to wide range of animal diseases. Due to
its neurotoxicity and nephrotoxicity, European and many countries has made its MRLs in
food for safety control. Streptomycin ELISA kits utilizing the latest biotechnology development

This kit uses indirect-competition method mainly based on the immunological reaction
between specific antigen and antibody. Streptomycin specific antigen coated on microtiter
plates competes binding sites of enzyme-labeled Streptomycin specific antibody with added
calibrator (or sample). With TMB chromogenic substrate, the absorbance value was negatively
correlated with residues of Streptomycin. Under the calibration curve, Streptomycin content of
the sample can be quantified multiplied by the corresponding compare dilution.
