Single phase voltage relay Rn-101 is in fact an independent switching apparatus. It's connected in series with a load. i. e. the relay is energized from a socket outlet directly and the load is activeted from a female connector of the relay. The relay protects a load of 3,5 kWt (to 16A) power and less against untolerable mains voltage variations. There are three independent adjustments in the relay:
trip threshold for the minimum voltage (160-210V);
trip threshold for the maximum voltage (230-280V):
automatic reset delay (5-250sec).
To avoid unnecessary trippings of the relay due to minor and/or short-term undervoltage, fixed trip delay for the voltage drop below the minimum voltage threshold setting is provided. The relay LEDs indicate that the mains (i. e. input) voltage exists and that the output voltage (i. e. the voltage on the protected device) exists (when the relay trips the LED is off).
