The 2023 China Furniture Design Gold Award Ceremony, jointly organized by the China Furniture Association, some companies of Shanghai Bohua International Exhibition, and ELLE DECORATION Home Gallery, was announced at 5pm on September 12th at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.

The China Furniture Design Golden Dot Award, as an important award of the China International Furniture Fair, is jointly organized by the China Furniture Association, Shanghai Bohua International Exhibition Co., Ltd., and ELLE DECORATION Home Gallery. Since its establishment in 2014, it has been successfully held for 7 sessions, aiming to create a world-class furniture design award at the "red dot" level in China, and has gained high attention and good reputation in the industry.

The judging panel of this year's Golden Dot Awards is composed of experts in the fields of architecture, interior, and industrial design at the forefront of both international and domestic levels. They carefully selected 17 outstanding designer works from over 200 exhibited works as a barometer for future design development.

In addition to the annual gold award, the annual best designer award, the gold point inheritance award, and the gold point single product award, this year's Golden Point Award has also added two new awards, the Sustainable Innovation Award and the Manufacturing Innovation Award, to recognize products that have outstanding performance in material and conceptual sustainability development, as well as good works that have made design more accessible through manufacturing process and process improvement.
