1.Application
The tubing made from (duplex) stainless steels is not corrosion-resistant to all environments. The tubing performance is heavily influenced, as well as lifetime of tubing decreases.
The encapsulation is used as a protective layer for keeping metal tubing from various aggressive chemical environments. And to enhancing the corrosion resistance performance of the entire coiled tubing.
2.Encapsulation Material
F46: It is the copolymer of PTFE and HFP (hexafluoropropylene). Named FEP. Wear-resistant, heat resistant, corrosion-resistant. It is capable of withstanding high temperature up to 280 degrees Celsius in the work.
