Autonomous Flybarless Helicopter Electric Powered Spraying System Payload 20kg Flight During 25 Minutes

?

Description:
# # The helicopter and its flying control system were developed in response to market demand for aerial agricultural spraying. Manned Fixed-wing crop dusters had been in use, but the small size of farms meant that this method was uneconomical and safety concerned. It provides much more accurate spraying, at lower cost and lower risk than manned aircraft.
# Compare to traditional manned aircraft, it does not require a large take off terrain, it could automacally take off and land from farms side area, no special track required; its light weight, small size, can be transported with a small size van.
# It carries maximum of 20?kilograms farm chemical. depends on the skill of operator, each trip could spray up to 2?hectare of land within 16?minutes, it is 80-100 times more effective than traditional manual hand spraying. When spraying pesticides operates, intense downdraft from the helicopter’s rotation can split and shake the crops and pesticides will be able to evenly apply on to the back and the roots of crops. In other words, comparing to traditional manual hand spraying, the helicopter offers crops and operator a better protection.
# The use of ultra-low volume pesticide spraying operation can limit the cost of water and pesticides. Moreover, using remote control allows the operator to stay away from chemical pollution, it’s greatly reducing the harm to the operator.

Competitive Advantage:

?

1. Helicopter VS Quadcopter

Quadcopters are less stable than helicopters. That’s right! They might seem pretty stable in many small hobby models, but that’s the Flight controller and speed controller doing all the stabilization for the pilot. It would be extremely hard to fly a quadcopter without the asistance.

Flight controllers are getting better and better it’s amazing how well it’s working. It leads to the misunderstanding that quadcopters are more stable than helicopters by nature.
For the quadcopter to maintain balance, each individual motors must adjust speed to change thrust. If motors on one side are spinning faster, it will generate more thrusts and the quad will tilt to the other side. Because quadcopter relies on changing the speed of the propellers to make yaw, roll and pitch movements (3 dimension movements), how fast it can change the motor RPM (rotation per minute) determines how agile the quadcopter is.

Apart from the electronic speed controller, this is also very much depends on the inertia of the propellers. As you can imagine, generally the bigger and heavier the props, the harder it is to slow down or speed up. Therefore that contributes to the less agile and unresponsive characteristics of a large quadcopter. Just like stopping a bicycle is easier than stopping a train.

2. Easy Operation

It does not require a runway to takeoff or landing, it takes off vertically. Hanhe BD-1 system has been installed, which effectively lowers the operation difficulty and the risks. Flying at low altitude of several meters, the dusting effect can be controlled in the sight-distance range. It is suitable for all kinds of complex terrain farmlands and the crops and woods of different heights. Accurate dusting can be achieved for different crops in the adjacent farmlands. Due to BD-1 installed, the dusting operation can be mastered via simple training.

3. Environment-friendly

The dosage of pesticide is reduced, so it can minimize the pollution of pesticide to the environment and crops. It is not harmful to the operator in the distances when dusting, and the labor intensity is reduced dramatically.
