Non-halogen intumescent flame retardant for
Rigid Polyurethane Foam

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION:
Rigid PU Foam is a kind of very good heat retaining material, widely used as adiabatic material for petroleum pipelines, refrigerating plants, shipping facilities and buildings.
The application of rigid PU foam is wider and wider, human require its function of fire resisting. SULPHOSUCCINIC ACID ESTER with HALOGEN is widely used in PU foam, but they will release some toxic gases when it is burning, therefore, use environmental-friendly halogen-free flame retardant is the trend.
TF-PU101, TF-PU102 and TF-PU102S our special environmental-friendly flame retardant only for PU foam. There are several advantages of it like high-efficient, non-toxic, low smoke fog and easy to use. The PU foam treated by our flame retardants, when it is burning, a protective carbonate layer will be generated, this layer could insulate oxygen and heating, at the same time it releases nonflammable gas, dilutes oxygen concentration, then stop fire extending and extinguishing itself.

PRODUCT TYPES:
TF-PU101, TF-PU102 and TF-PU102S

METHOD OF APPLICATION:
TF-PU101: It needs to work together with Phosphate ester flame retardants such as TCPP, which can be instead part of phosphate ester. Recommended dosage is 5%-10% co-work with phosphate ester.
TF-PU102: It can be used separately and also can be used together with SULPHOSUCCINIC ACID ESTER flame retardants. Recommended dosage is 15%-25% if be used separately.
TF-PU102S: It can be used separately and also can be used together with SULPHOSUCCINIC ACID ESTER flame retardants. It is finer than TF-PU102 but better fire resistant performance. Recommended dosage is 15%-20% if be used separately.
