In Amrita Split type Cartridge heaters, helically wound resistance coil is placed inside the tube filled with MgO powder and compressed for efficient and fast transfer of heat. The main purpose to the split type cartridge heater is for higher temperature applications. When compared to standard conventional cartridge heaters, split type cartridge heaters provide more clearance for insertion. It provides longer life, uniform and efficient heat transfer, easier insertion and removal process and provides hot zone up to the tip of the element.
