1 Structureprinciple
This plus type steel assembly machine is specially designed for assembling the finished H type steel and T type steel together to plus type column. The assembling process is:
1) First put the H type steel to the input roller conveyer, and use tool carriage to make it about centering;
2) Hang the T type steel onto the web of the T type steel, and then make them about centering by tool carriage;
3) feed the steels into the host machine through the input roller conveyer;
4) The flange centering device in the host machine will centering the T type steel;
5) The T type steels are clamped and centered by the gantry’s centering and clamping device;
6) The upper press wheel on the gantry will press the T type steels onto the web of the H type steel;
7) There is a upward wheel against the web of the H type steel to offset the pressure of the upper wheel;
8) The clamped seams will be spot welded by welding workers.
9) Turn the steel over 180°after finish combining one face of the H type steel, and then hang the workpiece onto the input roller conveyer by travelling crane;
10) After these hang the other T type steel onto the web of the H type steel;
11) Repeat 3) to 8) to finish the plus type steel’s assembling and welding.
The main machine consists of main transmission mechanism, side position structure, upper centering structure, top pinch roller, lower lift mechanism, hydraulic system and electrical control system.
The main transmission system includes one reducer, 3 transmission rollers and chain wheel and chain. Reducer drives 3 transmission rollers turning by chain wheel and chain to realize work-piece outputting.
Side location mechanism includes 3 location wheel, slide shaft, screw, 3 worm reducers and one hydraulic motor. Hydraulic motor drives 3 worm reducers turning synchronously, and each worm reducer drives location wheel to work-piece by screw rod.
Side pinch structure consists of pinch roll, slide shaft and 3 hydraulic cylinders. After positioning, 3 hydraulic cylinders drive pinch roll to fasten work-piece.
Top centering mechanism, which consists of 4 centering wheels, screw rods, 2 reducers and one hydraulic motor, is connected with lift beam. The hydraulic motor drives 2 reducers rotating synchronously and 2 reducers drive 4 screw rods turning, and screw rods drive 4 centering wheels to center the work-piece.
2 groups of upper pinch roller are mounted on lift beam, which fasten work-piece by upper cylinder driving lift beam.
Lower lift mechanism includes 2 lift wheels, 2 screw rods lift mechanism and one hydraulic motor. The hydraulic motor drives 2 screw rods lift up and down synchronously, and work-piece stands up to lift wheel to bear pinch stress caused from upper pressure wheel.
Please kindly note that the movement of side location mechanism and lift mechanism is controlled by coder and position controller. Its amount of movement can be set by operator and the number can be calculated according to work-piece.
