Glass Edging/Seaming Machine

Suitable for high-speed processing for hollow glass architectural glass, doors and windows glass, white glass and low-E glass. The machine use rubber rob wheel to press glass, transmission of fixed glass, processing and milling to avoid glass scratches and can effectively deal with Low-E glass in addition to film, edging processing problems.

Equipment composition and working principle

The equipment is composed of loading table, feeding device, grinding section, discharging device, unloading table, electrical cabinet, etc.

A.  Loading table

1. Dimensions：  4200mm(L)*3530mm(W)*960mm(H)

2.The loading table is equipped with a length measuring device, which is convenient to realize the process control of the system.

3. Conveyor roller size: Diameter  80mm*2850mm(L), the spacing is 220 mm, and the surface of the steel pipe is covered with NBR rubber

4.Loading table is stepless speed regulation, controlled by servo motor.

5.The worktable is equipped with a pneumatic lift-type universal turntable to facilitate the loading and unloading of large pieces of glass.

B. Grinding section

1. Dimensions :4850mm(L)*2947mm(W)*2200 mm(H)

2. 4 sets of grinding motors, 2 grinding motor each group, 8 grinding motor in total.

3. The conveying of grinding motor adopts servo control.

4. All grinding motor adopt multi-groove belt secondary transmission to increase the speed.

7. The glass dust is returned to the water tank, and the glass dust needs to be cleaned regularly and the water should be replaced.

C.Unloding table

The whole frame

1. Each transmission system of the whole machine is detachable and open with safety guardrails, and all external safety conforms to the national safety and environmental protection standards.

2. The electrical wiring points of the whole machine are detachable and enclosed safety covers, and the wiring points are not allowed to be exposed.

3. Maximum tolerance of conveying offset of the whole machine: ±5mm

Performance description

1.Four sets of grinding heads consume up to 8 degrees of electricity per hour.

2.8 hours to grind 1500-2500 square meters (calculated by 0.7), up to 6 pieces of 1m * 1m glass per minute.

Main component description:

1．Pressure wheel mechanism: Mechanical pressure wheel presses glass, with fast and stable operation, which can meet the requirements of glass fixing operations of 3-12mm.

2．Extrusion mechanism: the extrusion wheel carries out the side pressure on the glass, avoiding the glass running out of direction, and can meet the various kinds of most of the glass correction on the sheet.

3．Edge stopper wheel: without any auxiliary frame, you can directly put the glass against the edge line to ensure that the glass goes in a straight line.。

4．Sensor device: the use of glass photoelectric sensor, can effectively eliminate the safety accidents caused by sensor failure.

5．Lifting device: connecting rod lifting device, can ensure that the lifting action is synchronized and consistent, eliminating the defects due to lifting asynchrony.

6．Grinding wheel propulsion mechanism: adopting precision cylinder flexible propulsion, avoiding the inertia of the grinding wheel hitting the glass.

7．Rubber roller drive: the glass is not easily damaged on the flexible rubber roller. The glass is driven forward synchronously by servo drive, which can precisely control the glass position.

8．Rack and pinion transmission device: the grinding head in the transmission process, the rack and pinion is very precise, stable transmission, positioning accuracy, and long time stable transmission.

9．Alarm device: with automatic detection and red and green light alarm device, the abnormal situation can be automatically alarmed and displayed. The equipment has an emergency stop switch, which can be controlled in case of abnormality.

10．Mode: the device has automatic mode and manual mode two functions for choice. Operation is convenient and intuitive.
