Introduction

The purpose of EPDM Aeration Tube is to dissolve oxygen into waste water so that the microorganisms can utilize it while they break down organic material. EPDM Aeration Tube is a subsurface form of diffusion in which air is introduced in the form of very small bubbles to aid or enhance the treatment of waste water and provide oxygen for aquiculture.

Characteristics of Oxygen Aeration Tubes

?

The low-noise & energy-saving fan compresses air into the micropore aeration tube located near the bottom of the pond so that the purpose of three-dimensional oxygen adding is achieved. Compared with conventional surface mechanical oxygen-adding, the equipment enjoys such advantages as uniform oxygen-adding area, balanced oxygen-adding levels, less consumption of mechanical energy, evident improvement in underwater environment, etc.

1. During the oxygen-adding, a stream of V-shaped or vortex-type bubbles is formed at the bottom of the water. At the water depth of about 2m~5m, the atomized bubbles generated by one V-shaped oxygen-adding tube may have a width of up to 3~4m. The effective oxygen-addin area of one oxygen-adding disc of 1.2m in diameter may reach up to 350m2,with the air bubble diameter being 3.5um. The large contact area with the water allows the dissolved oxygen at the bottom of the pond to be up to 6-8mg/l, speeds up the oxidization of the harmful substances such as ammonia nitrogen, nitrite, hydrogen sulfide, etc at the bottom of the water, degrades the toxic side effects of aquatic organisms and thus improves the living environment of aquatic products and achieves the purpose of controlling water quality.

2. Compared to conventional means of oxygen-adding, the low-noise & energy-saving micropore bottom oxygen-adding system offers bottom static oxygen-adding with low noise and without vibration and has little adverse effect on the normal life of aquatic products and instead, can increase the adaptability and appetite of the aquatic products, shorten their growth cycle. With this system, the released density may increase to about 1.5 times so not only aquatic output can be increased but also the quality can be improved and optimum economic benefits can be achieved.

3. Compared to conventional oxygen-adding, 60% —80% of the power consumption can be saved.

Sanitaire patented pipe joints are designed to withstand thermal expansion and contraction, water hammer and other dynamic stresses, while pipe supports allow infinite height adjustment for accurate grid leveling. Spline joint design makes it easy to install and eliminates the risk for installation errors for contractors. Piping and other elements are fully interchangeable with Sanitaire ceramic disc systems.
