230KV double circuit suspension towers
This photo refers to our 230KV double circuit suspension towers, which carry double circuit transmission project. A double-circuit transmission line has two circuits. Usually both circuits operate at the same voltage. MEGATRO is experienced in design transmission towers to support two circuits of electrical current. Double-circuit transmission and distribution towers hold the different conductors stacked atop one another, while in single-circuit towers the conductors are lined up horizontally. A suspension tower is where the conductors are simply suspended from the tower, the mechanical tension being the same on each side. In this case, the tower is supposed to carry a downward force, and a lateral force, but not a longitudinal force.
