Description:

SCB-Monitoring Device SCBM4A,SCBM8A, SCBM12A ,SCBM16A is specially applied to intelligent PV combiner box. It can monitor the operating status of the solar system, measure the current and voltage of solar panels, collect the SPD (Surge Protective Device) status and the DC breaker status and control relay output for driving external executive body. The device can display the measured data and the status of the other device via 6 digital screen. It? can also connect the industrial equipment and computer to compose the monitoring system via the RS485 interface.

Intelligent PV combiner monitoring terminal unit ?is based on the Modbus-RTU communication protocol. The checksum and the data sequence which are defined by Modbus protocol are necessary for the specific data exchange. The Modbus protocol is used in a communication line which the host requested and the slave respond. That is a half duplex means of communication. First of all, the host computer sends signal to a unique slave terminal according to the address, and then the slave device response the signal to the host computer.

In a large photovoltaic (PV) grid generation system, it is generally to install a DC combining device between the PV module and inverter in order to reduce the connection between PV module and inverter, facilitate maintenance and improve reliability. Our intelligent photovoltaic combiner box with SPD series are especially designed to meet the requirement, which can provide a solution for PV power generation system matching with photovoltaic inverter. According to the input voltage of the inverter, a fixed number of similar PV modules can be connected to form a PV array by using PV array combiner box. Install:

Install the Box on the wall or Photovoltaic bracket

With 4 M8*30 Stainless steel screws (screw level 8.8)



Open all fuse holder before connecting

Status of breaker:Off

Distinguish positive pole cable &negative pole cable

Connected to the Inverter

Use cross screwdriver (Tightening torque, min. 2Nm, max. 2.5Nm)

Before closed fuse holders, make sure the open circuit voltage equal to every road ,the differ is ±30VDC.

2. Each SCB cables to Inverter must be all the same, cannot appear positive, negative reversal.

Adopt standard lock to open and lock the box

This box uses the international general standard locker, its high safety performance can guarantee the sealing of box.



Input connection

Photovoltaic components input is located at the bottom of the cabinet, PV combiner box can connect 12 strings input at most. Pay attention that PV modules output of connection is located in the bottom of the box, white wire is used to access positive PV modules, black wire is used to access negative PV modules. The user needs to unscrew gland, and disconnect all fuses and let the breaker off, then access connection to fuse holder by 1.5nm screwdriver, and finally tighten all waterproof terminals.

Output connection

Combiner box output is on the left of the bottom, as can be seen from the picture output including DC positive, DC negative and ground, grounding wire is yellow green. The communication wire is also at the bottom of the box, beside the grounding wire. The user needs to unscrew gland l before wires are connected, after access output wires, then tighten the screws, and finally tighten all glands.

Step 1: Operation the circuit breaker



Step 2: Open the fuse holder

Step 3: Change the fuse (he fuse replaced must be the same as the original model.)

Step 4: Close the fuse holder, switch on the circuit breaker.
