This air separation plant is deeply researched and developed in process calculation, process organization, process control and design, manufacture and assembling of packing column based on the technical features the of new generation air separation plant. Besides structural packing column and complete rectification to produce argon without hydrogen, efficient evaporation falling temperature technique, double layers adsorption technique and double main condensers technique are adopted, which are used in the upper column, argon column, water cooling column, molecular sieve adsorbers and condenser evaporator, and makes the complete set of air separation plant substantially increase efficiency and reduce consumption.

Part of the waste nitrogen gas from upper part of upper column out of cold box after being re-warmed in sub-cooler and main heat exchanger is meet the requirement of MS regeneration; the rest is discharged.

The normal purity oxygen system (90%~93%) is consisted of equipment as followings: (according to user different requirements, may has changes)

PRESSURE SWING ADSORPTION PROCESS

?

It has 2-vessels filled with Zeolite Molecular Sieves. Clean compressed air at 30o C temp. is passed through 1-vessel and Oxygen comes out as product gas. The other vessel is depressurized to atmospheric pressure and purged with little quantity of Oxygen coming out from other vessel. This regenerates Zeolite Molecular Sieves for use in next cycle. Thus 2-vessels keep cycling alternately in Oxygen production and Regeneration making Oxygen gas available continuously. These units are designed and supplied for 93% to 95% (Max) Oxygen purity.

? From PSA design Oxygen pressure is available directly up to 5 Bar (A) without need of booster compressor. So this design is preferred for Low and medium pressure Oxygen requirements.

? It’s very simple in construction and very easy in maintenance and more popular for most Oxygen requirements.
