Description:

?

1. Pharmacodynamics. Ceftiofur Sodium has broad spectrum bactericidal effect and effective to gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria (including beta lactamase bacteria). Main sensitive bacteria are pasteurella multocida, pasteurella haemolytica, actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, salmonella, escherichia coli, streptococcus, staphylococcus, some pseudomonas aeruginosa, enterococcus. Veterinary clinic use it to treat bovine acute respiratory infection (alveobron chiolitis which caused by pasteurella), bovinemastitis, Swine Actinobacillus Pleuropneumonia, etc.

2. Pharmacokinetics. Taken orally can not be absorbed, intramuscular and subcutaneous injections absorb quickly. Widely distributed, but not through the blood brain barrier. Drug concentration of blood and tissue is high, effective blood medicine concentration can last long time.?

Applications:

1. Piglets health cure: prevent piglets yellow or white dysentery and diarrhea, improve piglets survival rate and uniformity, and prevent piglets diarrhea and respiratory diseases.

2. The pig after weaning has system failure syndrome, dermatitis nephrotic syndrome, PRRS, PRV virus disease which arouse secondary infection, breathing difficulties, dermatitis, skin cyanosis, arthrocele.

3. The sow postpartum infection: endometritis, mastitis, agalasisa syndrome, postpartum fever and the birth canal damaged, and other diseases.

4. Treat swine infectious pleuropneumonia, swine plague, streptococcicosis, swine haemophilus disease, swine atrophic rhinitis, pant disease which arouse dyspnea, cough, pant, purple skin and other symptoms.

5. Chicks purification: prevent and treat chicken colibacillosis, white diarrhea, typhoid bacteria infection, and increase the survival rate and uniformity.

6. Treat duck Infectious serositis, duck pasteurella which arouse cholera, escherichia coli and typhoid. It can also used for the adjuvant treatment of viral diseases.

7. Treat dairy cow mastitis, endometritis, cattle acute respiratory infections, pneumonia, transportation fever, foot rot disease, calf diarrhoea and omphalitis and other bacterial infections.

8. Treat Respiratory tract infection caused by the horse streptococcus zooepidemicus.

Attendtion:

1. Before clinical application, injection with dissolved water for injection. The diluted solution refrigerated in 2-8℃ can be preserved for 7 days, and 12 hours at room temperature. Color change and diluted slightly opacities does not affect the result.

2. Ceftiofur Sodium has synergistic effect to cooperate with aminoglycoside.

3. Ceftiofur Sodium can enhance drug concentration and extent half-life period to cooperate with probenecid, and cephalosporin allergy animals are forbidden.

Usage and Dosage:

?

Intramuscular injections: once dose, ( as ceftiofur ) for 1 kg weight,?

Pig: 3 ~ 5 mg; cattle: 1.1 ~ 2.2 mg; horse: 2.2 ~ 4.4 mg, once a day, continue use 3 days.

Subcutaneous injection: 1 day-old chicks, 0.08 ~ 0.2 mg/feather (that is to say, the product can be used for 500 chickens at least).

Side Effect:

1. May cause gastrointestinal flora disturbance or double infection.

2. In cattle can cause distinctive hair removal and itching.

Withdrawal Period:

Cattle need 3 days, pigs need 2 days.
